Description
Check out this fun protein synthesis review game! Students review the steps of protein synthesis, transcription and translation, as they compete in a relay race. Turn your classroom into a cell with designated locations for a nucleus and ribosomes so students must move through the cell to complete the steps of DNA replication, transcription, and translation.
Get students up and moving in this fun activity to review protein synthesis. I use this activity at the end of my protein synthesis unit and also use it as review before state testing at the end of the year. Students have a lot of fun and are fully engaged throughout the game.
What’s Included:
✅ 6 DNA sequences
✅ Nucleus and ribosome posters to hang around the room
✅ Codon chart
✅ Directions that can be printed or projected on screen
✅ Answer Key
